Johnny is a hard working, down on his luck detective struggling to make ends meet in 1933. His reputation is that of fair, impartial research. He simply looks for the facts, and lets the chips fall where they may. In this case, two competing viewpoints clash, and Johnny must sift through the evidence to arrive at a factual conclusion. Using all available information, Johnny is surprised to learn that Faith and Works are definitely interrelated, and that true faith manifests itself into works.
The story hosts a wonderful array of memorable characters that help (or hinder) Johnny on his quest. The plot has twists and turns that delight and entertain the audience, all while teaching Biblical truths.
